Commercialized Trianda is set along the coast where every tourist amenity is close at hand.
Set back from the resort is the old village with its narrow streets and central square where little has changed in decades.
Locals have been sheltered from the constant development along this coast which has spread to within touching distance of neighbouring Ixia.
Indeed it's possible to walk between the two resorts along the road or beach.
