A secluded, luxury hotel built around a 16th century watch tower and set amid vast pine woods; an ideal base for a relaxing stay. In the splendid bay of San Montano, set imposingly on a rocky headland, stands the Mezzatorre Resort & Spa, a hotel which offers luxury, tranquillity and seclusion. The hotel consists of several buildings and is surrounded by low railings making it unsuitable for children and those with walking difficulties. The hotel is set against a backdrop of pine forest. Within its lovely, extensive grounds lies a large, heated seawater swimming pool with terraces facing the sea and a tennis court. Close to the pool lies a bar/restaurant and a private sun terrace with steps leading into the sea. Public rooms are all situated in the 16th century watchtower. Here you will find two tastefully decorated lounges and the spa, while the Piano Bar is located in a tastefully-furnished gazebo set in the park. A courtesy minibus is provided to Lacco Ameno, the pretty nearby village. A beautiful and rather special hotel: highly recommended.
