The Saraceno is spectacularly set into the cliff-side, forming a fabulous pocket of peace on the busy Amalfi Drive. A series of steps and lifts take you down from the hotel's top level lobby to a sunbathing terrace at the little shingle beach below, and a swimming pool is cut into the cliff overlooking the blue of the Mediterranean sea. Within 3.5 km of Amalfi centre, it's well placed for exploration of the Sorrento region. The hotel does not accept bookings for children under 12 years old. Its location and layout make it unsuitable for those with walking difficulties.
